I got this from Kevin over the weekend.

Just wanted to thank you again.Picked up copies of COD 4 & 5 on the Ebay cheap. V3 is a monster.If Madcatz would have had you on their payroll,they would be the M$ of controllers today,,,,no doubt in my mind. Thanks,

XIM2/Halo3 Updates:

Been playing a lot of Halo 3 of late on the Xbox 360 with the XIM+WinXP Laptop+Panther XL USB ver3. I found out that by default the MX518 runs at 800 DPI and the XIM2 configs I was using were setup for the mouse to be running at 1800 DPI. Using the software for the Logitech MX518 I was able to set the defaults from 1800, 800, 400 to 1850, 1800, 1750 so the middle position that the mouse runs in without selecting the on the fly buttons is 1800. YO! WAZZUP? Ya, took this pic cause we had a tremor here, and i grabbed some of my panthers in the room and did this shot. Our evening news asked if anybody had pics of anything that happened or damaged, cause of the tremors, and they asked the public to send them in, and they would show the pics on the news. YUP, I'm a tv star thanks to the PANTHER XL!

I recently built a new PC with a Phenom II 3.0 gig Quad core liquid cooled processor, twin Nvidia 9800 GTX 512 ram video cards in SLI, twin SATA 3 drives, 4 gigs of ram, a Sound Blaster X-Fi Extreme Gamer PCI express sound card that does not have a game port (oops !!). They do not make a PCI express sound card with a game port and I cannot use a normal card as there are no open slots due to the monster video cards taking up two slots each. I am now not sure what to do cause I can't use my PXL any more (BLAH !!!!!) I tried to install it but my PC states that I have no gameport, which I don't. Is it possible to use a modded PXL USB model and make it work without any gameport on my sound card since it does not plug into the card anyway????? Please help, PXL master.. bow down once again.

Hey love the new site! Ive been following what you've been doing for years. You are probably the best friend to all of us out here who still use controllers and especially Joystick users. I have several Joysticks But The Panther XL was and still is the best. The only thing better then an original panther is a Steveo Mod and of course I have one! Panther XL/DX. It rules! But Im seriously considering the version 3 now that Im playing Fallout 3. Hey I made a post in Bethesda's Forums telling people about the ver 3. There are a lot of people who play the game with controllers but the support in the game is incomplete.

I think it's funny we find ourselves here so close and so far away.

My firm and hardware skills appear to have evolved with yours...

I do mostly rouge code fixes that help me or my kids have fun.

Firmware and hardware ‘coding’ on PC/MAC to run both 32bit, 64 and linux, (bios mods) PSP, WII and Xbox to mak em do anything homebrewing

Fun hobby I am also glad to see you kept.

Your one of the few who would appreciate me running native commadork64 games on my PSP ;-)
